It was on March 6, 2001 that Little Aryana was born. In 2007, at the age of six, Aryana's big screen adventure was launched. The day started out like every other for Aryana and her family, until a neighbor, who is also an actor’s agent, saw Aryana using sign language. The neighbor new producers for the upcoming film Orphan (2009) were searching all over for a blond-haired little girl who knew how to sign, and suggested Aryana for the role.
Later that year, Aryana met with casting directors for the film. They were clearly impressed by Aryana’s talent, and set her on to meet up with the production company. She booked the role and was sent her to Toronto to start filming. Aryana loved acting saying “It was fun, not hard to do.” When Aryana had a break from filming, she filled her time taking pictures of everyone on Set. Aryana quickly bonded with the Assistant Director Ryan, later saying “Ryan’s the best." When I asked Aryana if she keeps in touch with her co-stars from Orphan, she said "ya I am with all of them specially Vera who played my mom!"
Aryana then went back home with her family and started the new school year. Since returning home she has filmed a commercial for the 2010 Winter Olympics which are being held in Vancouver. In March 2010 Aryana celebrated her 9th birthday with her friends and family. Also in March Aryana and her brother took part in the 2010 Paralympic Opening Ceremony, welcoming Viewers with the use of Sign Language.
Late 2011 Aryana booked another role. This time in the hit film franchise Resident Evil. In the film, Set ro released September 2012, Aryana plays a deaf girl named Becky who builds a mother Daughter relationship with the main character Alice (Played by Milla Jovovich). From everything I have read I believe this role is an important one in the film, and a good size. Stay tunned for more information about this film and Aryana's part in it.
Aryana's acting career is far from over! Check back soon! :)
